The Upper School at Staten Island Academy consists of Grades 9-12. The Quill is the online newspaper for students, teachers, and parents of the Upper School. It is also available in print twice a year. Did you know that The Quill is the longest running student newspaper on Staten Island, and some of the school’s archival records show that it is the longest running student newspaper in the country!
In the Upper School, students become pretty incredible young adults. They study hard, they play hard, and they take the initiative to lead groups large and small in making the Academy and the community a better place. AP courses, college counseling, and placement assistance help them prepare academically and socially to succeed at whatever college they decide to attend.
